Buffelskloof Boskamp is a small game farm in the heart of the Waterberg Mountain range, approximately 6 km outside Naboomspruit.
The off-the-grid Buffelskloof Boskamp is located at the bottom of a gorge and is the ideal getaway for a nature lover. There are also a few other campsites on the farm.
Buffelskloof Boskamp comprises of 4 campsites, situated around an ablution block with a wood fire water heater, and features 2 flush toilets and showers.
Koedoekamp and Rots en Bos Bergkamp are private campsites not far from Buffelskloof Boskamp, each with their own ablution facilities.
There are kudu, impala, rhebok, klipspringer, nyalas, baboon and leopards on the farm. Birdwatchers can explore to their heart's content and walk up to the pond to watch birds and fish eagles nesting.
There is a hiking trail up the mountain for hikers to experience beautiful views of Buffelskloof. Mountain bikes can also use the bush trail on the farm. There are tree-lined campsites around the ablution block and the Buffelskloof steam passes past the campsite. For the more adventurous visitor, there is a farm dam to cool off in, cast a line or paddle out on a canoe. Hikers can also hike along the trail and be rewarded with beautiful views from the vantage point at the top of the mountain.
Only 4×4 vehicles will be able to reach the camp with their caravans.
Wood for the first braai is included and thereafter guests can purchase wood from the hosts.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
When booking a game drive on a neighbouring farm, it must be paid on arrival. There is an additional cost per person and children under 10 pay half price.
