Situated a mere 43 km outside of Windhoek on the C26, Prospect Farm is perfect for a quick break from the busy city where you can come to relax and enjoy yourself next to our lovely farm dam.
The dam is perfect for swimming, canoeing (2 x kayak & 1 x plastic boat is provided) and fishing (catch & release). Other activities include hiking, self-drive 4×4 route, cycling, horse riding and bird watching. And since the dam is located on the 900 hectare game camp, be sure to look out for wildlife like eland and gemsbok.
We offer 3 campsites next to the farm dam with campsite 1 offering camping for up to 50 people, while campsites 2 and 3 can cater for up to 20 people. We also have a small cottage and a tree house for those who prefer indoor accommodation.
Road conditions are fair and is accessible by sedan and 4×4.

Our campsites are spacious and offer a few basic creature comforts to ensure that you truly enjoy your stay. All 3 campsites are situated next to the farm dam. Campsite 1 offers camping for up to 50 people, while campsites 2 and 3 can cater for up to 20 people.
Camping
- Overnight rates: N$250 per person per night (children under 12 years N$120)
- Day rates: N$100 per person per day (children under 12 years N$50)
Cottage and Treehouse
- The cottage is a self-catering unit – sleeps 2 people, with a bathroom and kitchen @ N$900 per night.
- The tree house sleeps 3 people @ N$250 per person per night.
*These 2 establishments have to be booked together if you are more than 2 people looking for indoor accommodation.
