Nestled in the peaceful sanctuary of the Brits Bushveld, rests this private game farm with exclusive camping sites and lodging. Rotsinbos is situated on a beautiful 170 hectare farm, less than an hour’s drive from Pretoria (Tshwane) and just 1.5 hours from Johannesburg. The farm boasts a wide variety of wildlife and is home to a remarkable number of game and bird species.
The Lodge

Our Patrys Tent is a stunning, large stand alone tent set onto granite boulders, providing guests with a beautiful sunset views. It is equipped with a braai stand with grid and awesome built-in wood fired Hot Tub. It is furnished with one queen-sized bed, added single bed (by request), a fully-equipped outdoor kitchenette with seating area, fridge / freezer, microwave, gas hob, en-suite bathroom, bedside lamps, electricity points, and allocated cupboard space.
*All lodge residents will have access to the boma area and viewing deck.
Fisant Tent

Our Fisant Tent is a large stand alone tent set discretely between trees and a rock near the boma, with its own separate private ablution. It is equipped with its own braai stand with grid, wooden bench, and outdoor kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, and gas hob. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, added single bed (by request), bedside lamps, electricity points, and allocated cupboard space.
Reier Timber Chalet
Chalet sleeps 2 – 4 people

This Timber Chalet is uniquely set between trees and built into a granite boulder. It is furnished with one queen-sized bed, double bunk-beds (for children), built-in cupboards, an aircon, a fully equipped kitchenette, fridge / freezer, microwave, gas hob, and en-suite bathroom. You can also enjoy the exquisite open air outdoor shower for those hot summer months and a modern indoor shower for those cooler winter months. We’re also excited to introduce a new built in braai area and wood fired Hot Tub!

The Rotsvy bush chalet is furnished with two single beds, best suited for friends enjoying a vacation together or for colleagues bunking together during a work function getaway.
The Suupruim bush chalet is furnished with one queen-sized bed, and is best suited to couples wanting a romantic getaway.
Both the Rotsvy and Suupruim bush chalets are also furnished with bedside lamps, a ceiling fan, electricity points, fully equipped kitchenette, fridge / freezer, microwave, gas hob, as well as a separate, spacious, and private ablution with shower, toilet and basin (in close proximity).
Dikbas and Raasblaar
Bush chalet sleeps 4
2 x Family Units named Dikbas and Raasblaar (each with 2 interleading rooms), one for adults and the other for children or 2 single individuals. Furnished with a queen size bed and two single beds, bedside tables & lamps, ceiling fans & electricity points. Enjoy your on-suite fully equipped kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, gas hob as well as a separate spacious, private ablution with shower, toilet and basin (in close proximity).
Bush Campsites and Glamping

Shared Ablution Campsites x 12

These campsites share ablutions on a ratio of 3 stands per ablution block, consisting of a spacious hot shower, basin, and separate toilet. Camps are equipped with outside lighting on a day/night sensor, water- and electricity point, bin, plus braai stand with grid. Campers have access to open-air, shared wash-up facilities too. Camps are located between marula trees and indigenous brush.

Private Ablution Campsites x 20

Each campsite has its own ablution with shower, basin, and separate toilet. Camps are equipped with outside lighting on a day/night sensor, a wash-up area, water, electricity point, bin, and braai stand with grid. Camps are located between marula trees, indigenous brush, and a huge rock boulder backdrop. We are also excited about our new one of a kind open air rock ablution, located at A10!

Off Grid Campsites x 18
4 People, 1 vehicle & 1 offroad caravan included per campsite
Be spoiled with an amazing and unique ablution build into rocks with a very effective donkey to stoke for hot water. Each ablution has a shower, basin, toilet and hooks to hang goodies and/or lights. These camps are equipped with a wash-up area, water, bin, and braai stand with grid. NO ELECTRICITY, so bring lamps and your own solar setup along (no generators permitted). The D-Camps are located between trees, indigenous brush, and a rock boulder backdrop. These three exquisite sites are very much like our very first open-air rock ablution (A10), just a whole lot bigger and caters for bigger groups (2 families)! It is a large campsite booked out as a whole, suitable for max 8 persons, 2 offroad caravans/tents & 2 vehicles “build your pricing” by adding-on tent/s, caravan/s, vehicles etc.
Book a Wood Fired Hot Tub for an extra spoil.
At night, hear hippo and perhaps the roar of lion from the neighbouring farm, Sable Ranch.
Note: We provide a bag of wood (per day booked) for stoking the “donkey” (hot water boiler).

Camp in style with your family or friends without the hasle. Rent our 4-sleeper fully equipped and already set up for you, on one of our stunning bush campsites being shared or private ablution sites. It’s your choice.
Arrive, Camp, Enjoy & Depart.
Included: setup and break down of unit, camping fee, linen, pillows, lights & a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer.
Bring your food, clothes, bath- and swim towels, chairs and bicycles.
Pro’s: You only rent the caravan for the duration of your stay. No additional rental is payable for the “collection” and “delivery” days. so you save 2 days on the entire rental period.
